2014%2f15 Saracens Kit released

Nike and Saracens Rugby Club today unveiled the club's new home and away kits for the 2014-2015 season. Saracens players Chris Ashton, Owen Farrell, Alistair Hargreaves, Alex Goode and Billy Vunipola are pictured wearing the new kits at the home of Saracens, Allianz Park.

The home jersey is a striking black design completed by horizontal red and grey speed stripes, along with a volt Swoosh Design for contrast. The Saracens crest appears on the upper left of the jersey and is heat-applied to eliminate seams and prevent in-game distractions.

The home shorts are black and feature a flock print pattern. Matching black socks with a volt Swoosh Design complete the home kit look.

The clean white away shirt design also features horizontal red and grey speed stripes, this time with a red Swoosh Design. Matching white shorts and socks, which have a no-contact toe seam for enhanced fit and comfort, complete the kit.

The Saracens home and away kits feature Nike’s latest performance innovation. Dri-FIT technology draws sweat away from the body to the exterior of the shirts and shorts where it quickly evaporates. This helps players to perform at their best by helping athletes keep cool, dry and more comfortable. An inside silicone strap on the bottom of the shirt prevents the jersey from bunching up, for zero distractions on the pitch.

All materials are strength tested to ensure they remain strong but flexible on game day to prevent tearing. The gripper technology on the side panels of the jersey increase traction between the ball and the shirt, giving players more control in contact situations.

And for the first time, heat transfer pockets have been applied to the inside of the jerseys, allowing GPS trackers to be securely placed in players' shirts in order to monitor their performance.
