Bristol Rugby have swooped to sign scrum half Luke Baldwin from Saracens on a two-year deal.
The 23 year-old has been on a season long loan with Championship side Bedford Blues this season, and will join up with Bristol on December 1st.
“I’ve been an admirer of Luke for a long time and he’s a player who I’ve kept close tabs on,” Director of Rugby Andy Robinson told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“Luke is exceptionally quick and dynamic – he’s a constant threat and has shown a high level of consistency in his performances for the Blues.
“I believe he’ll be perfectly suited to the expansive game that we are trying to play at Bristol.
Baldwin will join Bristol from December 1.
“I’ve had an amazing four and half years at Saracens, and will take away a lot of memories that I’ll cherish for life.
“I’m really excited about the move to Bristol Rugby and my future with the Club,” added the highly-rated scrum half.
“I’m eager to continue to improve my game and the quality of coaching staff, facilities and players around me at Bristol can only be beneficial”.
