Saracens Man of the Match Billy Vunipola revealed that he was ecstatic to have come away from Belfast with win, as Saracens progress into the Heinken Cup semi-finals.
“It was so enjoyable to get that win just for those few seconds after the final whistle” said the back-rower who produced one of his finest performances in a Saracens shirt since arriving at the club in the summer.
“It was awesome but then you immediately realise that your body is in pieces. It was a great win for the team and I’m just happy to be ‘Back in Black’”.
He added; “I think the Heineken Cup is about winning these tough games. At the end all the boys knew that we just had to stick in and it was tough but it was just great to get over the line. It was heart in your mouth stuff at the end but we hung in there and showed great discipline not to give away a penalty at the end.
Vunipola went on to say; “It was fun out there tonight. I think when you come to places like Ravenhill you have to embrace that kind of atmosphere and at the end of the game it was brilliant feeling having won the game”.
