Former Saracens half-back Kyran Bracken believes his former side has what it takes to beat Toulouse in the south of France this weekend.
The last time Saracens played Toulouse away from home in Heineken Cup, the World Cup winning N0.9 captained the Men in Black to a famous victory in October 2000, when Saracens beat the French giants 22-32 at the Stade Municipal.
“The result in 2000 was obviously incredible” said Bracken .
“To beat Toulouse in their own back yard was a fantastic achievement for us at the time and I think that this Saracens side has every chance of repeating it.
“Anything is possible the way Saracens are playing and the way they are fighting for each other. The power Toulouse seems to have is incredible, as is their strength and depth.
“When you look at their bench, and who they can bring on after 50-60 minutes, it is unbelievable, but Saracens are equally as strong and are playing some fine rugby at the moment.
“It’s going to be a titanic match between two very strong sides” added the legendary scrum-half.
