Coach Education Summer Success!

Saracens have been hitting the road this summer with their Coach Education Programme.

Throughout this summer, Saracens have been visiting a number of it’s Partnership Clubs, passing on their coaching expertise to well over 100 mini, youth and senior coaches. Saracens aim is to be proactive and is looking to engage with as many partnership club coaches as possible. Through the Saracens Coach Education Programme, the idea is to give coaches fresh new content to assist with their development and coaching methods.

“This is a great programme to be managing and it’s really rewarding to hear from coaches that these sessions are being put into practice. We encourage coaches to take part in the activities which gives them a first hand experience of what the sessions are about. The feedback from the clubs and coaches alike has been fantastic” said  Saracens RDO James Tirrell, who manages the programme.

“All of us who attended really enjoyed the session and picked up some great ideas which we have already introduced to the players”. Barnet RFC.

I thought the session was excellent – some great new ideas and twists on drills and mini-games with useful explanations. Edenbridge RFC

The Coach Education Programme will be continuing on into the 2013/14 season. If you would like any further information, as well as specific venues, then please contact or alternatively call 07894783136
