Club Partnership Programme

First launched in the 2003/04 Season, the Club Partnership Programme, sponsored by Stratstone of Aylesbury Land Rover, aims to build strong relationships between Saracens and our local rugby clubs. We are committed to the development of the game within our community and believe that the most effective way of achieving this is in partnership with the local clubs.

Benefits to Partner Clubs include:

- An association with your local Premiership Rugby Team, including links from www.saracens.com to your club website and details about your club. To see the clubs involved click here

- The opportunity for clubs to raise funds through tickets via the 'Club Ticket Initiative'

- Participation in match day activities prior to Saracens fixtures

- Access to Coach Development sessions and resources

- Opportunities to attend Coaches Open Days to see how the players are trained

- Free membership to our Junior Fan Clubs; Sarries Squad (for Minis Players up to U12) and RUCK15 (for Junior Players up to U16) to all club members

- Regular updates from Saracens on whats going on at the club and opportunities available through the programme

Review of the 2005-6 season:

- 30 Partner Clubs were involved in the programme

- Over 4000 children attended Saracens home games to be inspired by their playing heroes

- Through selling ticket, clubs raised 14,000-15,000 for new equipment and tours!

- 12 clubs had their U8s teams play on the Vicarage Road pitch at half time of Premiership games

- 12 clubs had pre-match coaching sessions with players from the club

- 450 children made up the guard of honour tunnel, cheering the teams as they came onto the pitch for matches

- 175 coaches attended our Coach Development sessions improving standards across the region

- Saracens players collectively did 65 visits to Tier 1 clubs

- 1574 FREE memberships were given out to our Junior Fan Club

The 2006-7 season has once again seen the programme grow with more clubs involved.

The Club Partnership Programme is exclusive to clubs in the local area who regularly attend Saracens fixtures.

Saracens Herts/Middx Junior Rugby Leagues

In addition to running the Club Partnership Programme, Saracens also support local club rugby by sponsoring the Herts/Middx Junior Rugby Leagues. This is an excellent tournament running throughout the season which sees local junior teams battling it out in leagues in six different age groups.
