Multi Sports Community Sports Coach
Salary: £18k per annum
1 year fixed contract

Primary Purpose

To devise organise and deliver coaching activities for students in across all ages from key stage 1 through to Key Stage 4 within School Sports Partnerships across St Albans, Harpenden and Welwyn/Hatfield.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivering high quality Multi Sports teaching in curriculum and extra-curricular activities in key stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 within the two allocated School Sports Partnerships.
- To ensure the sessions are child-centred, structured, progressive, fun and of a high quality.
- To arrange and deliver Saracens after school clubs in a range of sports.
- Promote the profile of Saracens Foundation, School Sports Partnerships and rugby clubs within the local communities.
- To lead the training of primary and secondary school teachers, coaches and young leaders in Multi Sports activities.
- Manage the delivery aspects of all assistant coaches (young leaders and volunteers) working on the programme.
- Deliver Premier Rugby Camps during the school holidays across Hertfordshire, North London and Luton.
- To commit to a programme of continuing professional development to ensure that the coaching provided is always of the highest quality.

- Qualifications: Minimum Level 1 Rugby Football Union coaching award and another sport. Ideally Level 2 in at least one sport.
- Experience of coaching within school environment.
- Good understanding of School Sport Partnership network and the PESTLE strategy.
- Detailed knowledge of current coaching and training processes appropriate to each athlete group.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and motivation skills.
- Valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.

The position will be based at Saracens' Head Office in Watford Town Centre. You will be required to work some evenings and weekends.. Applicants must have a valid driving license and access to a suitable vehicle.

Community Dance Coach
Salary: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour
Part Time - Flexible Hours

Job Description

Saracens RFC award winning Community Team are seeking two highly motivated, responsible and innovative individuals to work within its expanding community dance programme.

Saracens Rugby Club has been running a Community Dance Programme with over 2500 children participating in the last 12 months. Due to the increased demand and success of the programme Saracens is now looking to add to our pool of causal dance coaches to deliver sessions to students aged 3 - 24.

Roles and Responsibilities
- To deliver on a number of dance projects including breakfast and after school clubs, holiday camps, and days of dance.

- Cover a range of dance styles including Cheerleading, Street Jazz and Hip Hop

- Plan, deliver and review all sessions.

- Work towards a routine over the block of lessons and then deliver at an assembly

Successful applicants will posses:
- Recognized dance tear qualification such as IDTA or ISTD.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Current Driving License

- Candidates must have experience working with children and young people teaching dance across a range of ages

- In addition to this applicants must hold an up to date CRB check, emergency first aid and a relevant child protection certificate

- An NCSSE Cheer qualification would be preferable although not a pre-requisite

- Immediate hours are available for successful candidates
