Double Match Day Experience For Schools

Sundays victory over Exeter Chiefs saw this seasons first double match day experience for local Barnet and Harrow schools that have taken part in the Premiership Rugby National School Programme.

65 pupils from Barnet Schools, Cromer Road, St Paul’s NW7 and Beit Shvidler took part in the opening Guard of honor. This was a first match day for most of the participants and was made even more special by getting the chance to get up and close to the Saracens players as they ran out of the tunnel at 3pm.

This was not the only match day experience of the afternoon as the Barnet schools were joined by St Johns school from Harrow who participated in a parade of the pitch at half time to then make their own Guard of honor for the team’s appearance for the second half.

“Thank you for what was a most enjoyable day as well as creating life long memories for our school kids they all had great fun and most of all enjoyed the experience of the Saracens victory”.

Carl Kourtz Assistant Head St Johns School- "We enjoyed the match so much that I will be coming to another Saracens match with my whole family".
