Billy Vunipola returned to Saracens this week after three barnstorming performances for England in the autumn international series.
The back-rower started all three tests against Australia, Argentina and New Zealand at No.8 for Stuart Lancaster’s England side, and the 20 year-old says he loved the experience of testing his abilities in the test arena.
“Playing against Australia, Argentina and New Zealand throws up different kinds of challenges and I really enjoyed it – It was a great experience and if anything it has made me more hungry to keep on improving my game” said Vunipola.
“I loved it. To test myself against the best back-rowers in the world is what I want to do, and like I said, the whole experience of being in the camp and getting to play at a packed Twickenham Stadium is something I want to be doing over and over again.”
He added; “It’s great to be back at Sarries – my focus is now preparing with the rest of the squad for a massive test down in Exeter. They are a very well drilled and dangerous team so there’s no time to dwell on things.”
