Saracens up for Munster test - Wigglesworth

Scrum-half Richard Wigglesworth believes Saracens will be facing ‘top quality’ opposition on Saturday, when his side face Munster at Allianz Park.

The England half-back believes the two time champions of Europe will provide Saracens with another tough examination in a vital Pool 1 Champions Cup clash in north London.

“We’re feeling excited,” said Wigglesworth. “It’s a massive game that we all want to be involved in. We’re up against a top quality Munster team and hopefully we can put in a good performance.

"We think that they will come with a similar plan on Saturday. At Thomond Park they were clinical, effective in what they did and brought a lot of physicality to the breakdown. We have to deal with their kicking game and try to impose our game onto them as well, if we get a bit of territory we’ll try and hurt them.”

He added: “You thrive on occasions like this. You have to be excited but this sort of stuff, because this is why you play the game. The games against the best teams, in full stadiums are the clashes you want to play in. It’s great that Allianz Park in sold out and I’m sure it will be rocking on Saturday.”
