Fercu named Nations Cup best

Saracens' Cătălin Fercu was named Man of the tournament in the 10th World Rugby Nations Cup which ended yesterday in Bucharest with Romania's victory.

The Saracens full-back or wing has been in fine-form for The Oaks in their victorious Nations Cup campaign

The Oaks won the last match against Argentina Jaguars 23 - 0, with Timisoara Saracens' Andrei Radoi, Marian Drenceanu, Dorin Lazar, Stelian Burcea and Valentin Calafeteanu also playing their part.

A masterclass of scrummaging enabled Romania to overcome the young Jaguars side 23-0 in Bucharest to win the World Rugby Nations Cup title at the Arcul de Triumf Stadium in Bucharest.

This is the third time the Oaks have won the Nations Cup trophy in the competition's 10-year history and they did it in style, as they prepare to announce their 40-strong Rugby World Cup 2015 squad.
