Sarrie’s RFC is a tag rugby club for young people aged 9 to 19 with high functioning disabilities.
Our club, who train on the 4G pitch at Allianz Park, use tag rugby as the tool to enhance the lives of young people who suffer with a disability such as Autism and ADHD.
Our aim is to create a regular opportunity for physical exercise whilst also having a big emphasis on improving the member’s social skills. Our sessions are designed to have the perfect balance between repetition and progression so that our members do not get overwhelmed but also can improve both their rugby skills and social skills.
Our club also provides a parent respite area, this allows the parents of our members to relax on site whilst being confident that their child is safe and is engaging in high quality physical activity. We hope that Sarrie’s RFC can expand that we can create competitive fixtures for our groups.
