Four Saracens included in USA World Cup squad
Four Saracens players have been included in USA Men’s Eagles Head Coach Mike Tolkin 50-man Rugby World Cup training squad.
The Eagles will assemble in Santa Clara July 11 ahead of the first two rounds of the World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup at Avaya Stadium in San Jose and Bonney Field in Sacramento. The squad for the U.S.’s third year in the competition, which will run through to the Finals day in Burnaby, Canada, August 3, will be announced June 22.
After a prolific try-scoring season that yielded a career best of 14 tries, Chris Wyles (pictured) is hoping to carry his impressive World Cup form into his third World Cup finals. Wyles is joined by long-term USA and Saracens teammate, Hayden Smith.
Joining Wyles and Smith are centre Thretton Palamo and promising prop forward, Titi Lamositele.
