Hooker Jamie George believes Saracens are well aware of the of the task they face when they travel to western Ireland on Friday evening, to take on Connacht Rugby in the Heineken Cup.
“It’s a tough start to the Heineken Cup, but it’s a massively important competition for us” said George.
“Obviously we were disappointed with the way things ended last year [in the semi-final], but we lost to the eventual champions [Toulon] – we had to take it on the chin at the time but we’ve moved on since.”
“Playing in Europe is something that as players we really enjoy and going to Galway on a Friday evening is an example of the kind of game you look forward to as a player.”
“So as The Vamps say ‘that’s all I have to say so, baby, can we dance?” added George.
