Free scoring hooker Jamie George crossed for his sixth and seventh tries of the season in Saracens 20-32 win away to London Wasps at Adams Park, and the England Saxons hooker revealed post-match how pleased he is to be coming away from High Wycombe with the five points.
“We couldn’t really ask for much more than that today. Adams Park is very hard place to come and play, so we are definitely going to take a bonus point win” said George.
“Obviously there are things that we can work on after that, things like our discipline, but all in all I think we were pretty sound throughout. We corrected a few wrongs in the first half and I think we’ve put down a good platform going into a big game next week”.
On his try scoring exploits George added; “I think just hanging at the back of mauls is the key to my success! In all seriousness though, it goes down to a big forward effort, I’m just lucky to playing alongside a great pack of forwards and I’m just happy to be playing my part”.
