After a summer tour to New Zealand with England, Alex Goode is back training with Saracens.
The 26-year-old full-back returned to Saracens’ St Albans training base at the beginning of the week, along with the rest of Saracens international contingent, as the Club prepares for the upcoming 2014/15 season.
“It’s great to be back with club and back with all the lads again,” said Goode. “I’ve had a good rest after the tour and I ’m really excited to be preparing for the start of the new season.
“On a personal level, it’s just about getting back up to speed after the off-season. I was pretty pleased with my end of season form and performances, so I’m aiming to be getting back to them level as soon as I can.
He added; “As a team we’re looking to make some improvements to our game, as we always strive to do. Hopefully we can make a strong start to the season. The squad hasn’t changed much since last year, so there’s a great sense of continuity. The new guys seem to be settling in really well and everyone is in a great mind-set for the start of the new season”.
