Saracens coach Paul Gustard believes the return of Brad Barritt to the Saracens fold bodes well for the club, as Saracens prepare to face Bath at The Rec in tonight’s Premiership round 16 fixture.
Since his return to the squad, Barritt has been in impressive form in a Saracens shirt, and for Gustard, having Barritt available for the club is a huge bonus.
“Brad Barritt has been probably our most consistent performer over the last five seasons. He is without doubt the best inside centre for England in my opinion” said Gustard.
“He has been magnificent since he’s returned. Obviously we are very disappointed as a club that he isn’t playing where he belongs and that is at international level.
“Brad was superb last weekend, he made 13 tackles, missed none and he carried and distributed well – he’s playing some great stuff at the moment” he added.
