After an impressive performance alongside Saracens captain Steve Borthwick in the Saracens engine room last weekend, George Kruis believes Saracens will be up for the challenge on Saturday afternoon, when they face Harlequins at The Stoop.
“Personally I’m really looking forward to the game” said Kruis.
“We have discussed in the week that the games have been quite progressive in terms of the intensity building up to this weekend, so as a squad we are excited”.
Kruis added; “Training has been sharp this week, and everyone is up for it”.
Saracens have a chance to maintain their 100% league record at the Stoop this Saturday, and the England Saxon forwards maintains that the teams focus preparation has not altered for the Harlequins game.
“When we do well, we do the simple things well” he said.
“When we stick to our own game plan and we impose that on opposition sides then we have the opportunity to do well. It’s true that we have the mentality of ‘the next game ahead is the most important’ – so whoever that may be that upcoming weekend then our focus and preparation stays the same, and we prepare to the best of our ability”.
