Lelo Saracens coach hails partnership
Lelo Saracens Head Coach Levan Maisashivili heaped praise on the Saracens Global Network, after the Georgian club's coaches spent eight days in the UK observing Saracens' training and matches.
One of the unique aspects of the Saracens Global Network is the coaching exchange that the programme facilitates. The Lelo Saracens coaches had the opportunity to visit the Saracens training ground in St. Albans and work with the Sarries back-room staff.
Maisashivli was delighted with the trip, he said: “We have had the opportunity to watch and learn from some of the best coaches in the world. We are now working hard to implement what we learnt with our own squad. Being able to see how Saracens train for a big game, and then watching them put their game plan into action against London Irish was great for our coach development.“
He added: “We’re very happy to be a part of the Saracens Global Network. This important partnership will only help Lelo Saracens develop and grow in the future.“
Lelo Saracens currently lie in second place in the Georgian Premier Division.
