2016/17 Anglo-Welsh Cup Fixtures announced

Saracens are pleased to announce the first round of fixtures in this season’s Anglo-Welsh Cup following confirmation from Premiership Rugby. As the Anglo-Welsh Cup did not feature in the 2015-16 season due to conflicts with the Rugby World Cup, Saracens head into this year’s tournament as current holders of the title after their successful run in the 2014-15 season.

November sees the Anglo-Welsh cup kick off with Round 1 as Saracens go on the road to Kingsholm as they face Gloucester Rugby, before hosting Newcastle Falcons at Allianz Park in Round 2. Both these fixtures are fully confirmed for time and date.

Rounds 3-4, currently still subject to change, will take place in consecutive weekends in January & February and see Saracens take on Welsh side, Scarlets at their Parc y Scarlets ground (round 3). In the final pool stage, Saracens face big English rivals Leicester Tigers.

Semi-finals are set to take place on the weekend of 11th & 12th March with the final of the Anglo-Welsh Cup being hosted on Sunday 18th March.
