Another winning weekend for Saracens players

Saracens players were once again in the thick of the action over the weekend, with players representing England, England U20s and Scotland.

In Sydney, England wrapped up a memorable series whitewash defeating Australia 44-40 in a thrilling contest with six Saracens players involved.  Mako Vunipola, Maro Itoje, George Kruis, Billy Vunipola and Owen Farrell all started with Jamie George once again impressing from the bench.

Playing at inside centre Owen Farrell was in imperious form with the Sarries No10 kicking 24-points. Fellow Sarries teammates Billy Vunipola and Jamie George crossed for tries in a highly entertaining game.

In Manchester, Saracens academy trio Max Malins, Matt Gallagher and Billy Walker helped England secure their third World Rugby Under-20 title in four years with a commanding 45-21 win over Ireland. Following in the footsteps of fellow Sarries in Matt Hankin and Scott Spurling in 2013, and Maro Itoje, Nathan Earle, Nick Tompkins, Hayden Thompson-Stringer and Henry Taylor in 2014, in winning the U20s tournament.

In Japan, summer signing Sean Maitland helped Scotland to a series win over Japan. Maitland played 80 minutes on the wing as Scotland edged past the brave blossoms in a 21-16 win to secure 2-0 series win.
