Emergency Service workers invited to London Double Header
Saracens are pleased to announce that have teamed up with the London Emergency Services to offer complimentary tickets for the upcoming London Double Header.
Members of the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance and London Fire Brigade will be able to claim tickets to the round one Aviva Premiership clash free of charge. The offer is in place as a show of support for the inspiring work the emergency services provide the people of London. Each member of staff can claim up to eight tickets to ensure it becomes a day out for friends and family.
The day will see Saracens take on old rivals Northampton Saints before newly promoted London Irish face Harlequins. Over 30,000 tickets have already been sold for the day.
Saracens CEO, Heath Harvey said “We would like to illustrate our gratitude and thanks for the wonderful work our emergency services do on a daily basis in this great city by offering them free entry to one of the biggest days in the domestic rugby calendar. We recognise the work that they do and hope that in a small way we can help highlight just how much we as a Club and a City, appreciate them".
Metropolitan Police Federation Chairman, Ken Marsh added “our thanks go to Saracens RFC for this generous offer – we have no doubt it will be a brilliant day for all involved.”
