Foundation Runners Raise £5k

Sunday 20th March was an early start for our 20 Saracens Sport Foundation runners that participated in the North London Half Marathon to raise money for the Foundation. This was an iconic run that started from Wembley Stadium to Allianz Park & back and was completed by crossing the finishing line inside Wembley Stadium.

Smashing their fundraising target, an impressive collective total of £5,000 was raised by the runners for the Saracens Sport Foundation. The runners were all proud of their achievements since as well as exceeding their fundraising targets, the runners also exceeded their personal running time expectations.

The Foundation’s very own staff took part in the challenge and completed the Marathon with fantastic times. Led by Emily Neilan, our Athletics Activator who ran an impressive 1.33.50 followed by Roanne Crouse, Get Onside Project Officer at 1:54:06, then Owain Davies Senior Development Manager at 02:08:55 and Maddy Poutney who is the Hospitality Coordinator for Saracens Ltd at 02:17:00.

We are incredibly proud of them but also extend our sincere thanks to everyone who took the time and energy to run for the Saracens Sport Foundation and help raise such an impressive amount for us to continue our work.

Thank you to everyone that’s supported and sponsored our runners raising much needed funds for the Saracens Sport Foundation.
