McCall Looks Ahead To Champions Cup Semi Final After Wembley Triumph

After overcoming London rivals Harlequins in front of 80,000 people at Wembley on Saturday attentions now turn to the Champions Cup semi final against Wasps at the Madjeski Stadium this Saturday.

Despite defeating Quins, on the day captain Mako Vunipola admitted there were improvements needed ahead of the all-important semi-final. “I think our discipline let us down a bit” said Mako after the game. “We’ll go back and take the learnings from that and we know we’ve got to improve a lot better for Wasps next week”

Speaking after the game Mark McCall also turned his focus to securing a Champions Cup final place in Reading on Saturday. “Next week’s an absolutely massive game, it’s a massive week and the players are talking about it in the changing room already. We need to train, we need to prepare and the players are already excited about it.”
