Saracens Look Ahead to Ulster Clash

Petrus Du Plessis was superb, and I’m not sure how he wasn’t Man of the Match, as to scrummage that way against Marcos Ayerza takes some doing. I thought he was brilliant today." - See more at: http://www.saracens.com/news-article/mccall-hails-pack-performance-after-tigers-result#sthash.tZ9etc1v.dpuf

With Saracens’ unbeaten run coming to an end against Harlequins on Saturday Mark McCall’s men are looking forward to getting back on the pitch against Ulster in front of a home crowd at Allianz Park this Saturday.

Speaking after the Quins game McCall said “This group in the past has been pretty good at dealing with the odd setback, we’ve got a big game to get our teeth stuck into against Ulster and and we’ll get stuck into the week.”

Ulster will come into the game off the back of a key win against French side Oyonnax who they narrowly beat this weekend. After an uncharacteristic first half performance which saw the Ulstermen trail 23-0 at half time, Ulster scored 24 unanswered points in the second half to sneak the victory.

The win puts Ulster six points behind Saracens who currently top the pool with four wins from four and a total of 19 points, having scored 21 tries in the process.

Echoing McCall’s comments, Will Fraser added “Ulster is a huge game, we had a good win against them away so they’re going to be fired up for the game at Allianz Park and so are we”

Tickets still remain for the key clash, and with both sides battling it out for that all important quarter final place this is one game not to be missed.
