Saracens name side to face London Irish in New Jersey

Saracens have named their team to face London Irish in Saturday’s historic Aviva Premiership clash at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, kick-off 15h00 local (20h00 GMT) screened live on BT Sport.

In the first ever Aviva Premiership game to have been taken ‘on the road’ Saracens are able to call upon the services of Alex Goode, with the England player having linked up with the side earlier this week after his release from Eddie Jones’ side to face Wales in the Six Nations that includes five Saracens players.

Goode, who has already played at the Red Bull Arena when playing for England in the Churchill Cup back in 2010 will start at full-back alongside former USA Eagles skipper Chris Wyles and Mike Ellery in the Sarries back three.

Elsewhere in the back division, Brad Barritt will skipper the side alongside Argentine international Marcelo Bosch whilst Nils Mordt (fly-half) and Ben Spencer (scrum-half) continue at half-back.

In the pack, Richard Barrington (loosehead prop) Jared Saunders (hooker) and Juan Figallo (tighthead prop) are named in the front row, with USA international Titi Lamositele named on the bench as one of Saracens front-row replacements. Jim Hamilton and former USA Eagle Hayden Smith continue at lock whilst Michael Rhodes (blindside flanker), Jacques Burger (openside flanker) and Jackson Wray (No8).
