2011/12 Aviva A-League

The 2011/12 Aviva A-League takes on a new format this season with the removal of the home and away format owing to clubs missing a number of players during the first half of the season because of the Rugby World Cup.

The competition will be condensed this season with clubs playing just sevens rounds of matches, starting in October. As before, the competition is being split into North and South pools with the top two teams qualifying for the knock-out stages.

Saracens are in the South pool along with Gloucester, London Irish, Harlequins, Bath, Exeter Chiefs and Wasps
