Graham to take up Wallabies role

Saracens Coaching Co-ordinator Richard Graham is to return home to Australia at the end of the season where he will join the Wallabies as Skills Coach.

The Sarries coach will work alongside Australia Coach Robbie Deans and will focus on the skill development of the national team - a post he will start in June.

Graham has spent three seasons with Saracens after joining the club from Bath and explained the opportunity to work for his country of birth was just too good to refuse.

Graham said: "I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with Saracens over the past three seasons and my wife and I have made a lot of friends at the club. But the chance to return home and work with the national team in the build-up to the World Cup in two years time was too good to turn down and I'm really excited by the challenge.

"I watched the Wallabies progress closely last year under Robbie Deans, especially when they were over here for the Autumn Internationals. I was impressed with what I saw and I'm looking forward to being a part of it.

"I'll be joining up with the Wallabies in June but for now my complete focus is on Saracens and finishing the season strongly. We’ve got an exciting climax to the season as we push for a play-off spot in the Guinness Premiership and also look to compete for silverware in Europe.”
