Raise the Standard at Wembley

10 Sep 2009 - 11:30

At Saracens this season, we’re Raising the Standard – and that continues at Wembley Stadium on Saturday with the launch of the Maestro scrum half flag.

The match at the iconic sporting venue will create history as Saracens become the first club rugby union side to stage a game at the Stadium and keep a look out for the second in our series of flags to be launched over the course of the season.

Last week, the Magician’s flag helped support the team to victory and dominated the stands at Twickenham – and now we want to do the same on Saturday. Keep a look out around the ground for the flags. Don’t forget to collect yours and also crack the code.

Not only will the flags be a symbol around which the team and all fans can collectively get behind on a matchday, but they will also be raising money for a good cause. All proceeds raised from the flags will go to the Saracens Sport Foundation. Not only will the limited edition flags be a great collectable to remember what will be an exciting season at Saracens, but you can also win great prizes.

Each flag contains a special code. If you can find it, you can win great prizes every home matchday and remember to write down all of the codes over the course of the season. Because if you can unlock the secret of the flags, you can win an amazing prize.

The flags will be available around the ground at all Saracens home matches and more details will be published in all matchday programmes which will include a few clues to help you unlock the secret of the flags!

In all, 10 flags will be released at every home game over the course of the season – starting with the Fly Half flag at Twickenham. The Magician Flags will be available from the Gathering – so make sure you don’t miss out.

Plus, keep a look out for the chequered flag which will lead the team out at all home games which explains our vision for the game and represents all of the players at Saracens using a series of heraldic crests.
