Players delighted after an amazing day

It wasn't just on the pitch where there were scenes of celebration and delight - the Saracens dressing room after the victory over Northampton Saints at Wembley Stadium was also a special place to be.
But while the players were delighted with the result, their feet were still firmly on the ground after the narrow 19-16 victory over the Saints and all eyes are now on Saturday's trip to Harlequins in the third round of the Guinness Premiership.
Full back Alex Goode was relieved after getting the club's second successive win of the season. He said: "It was a very tough game and it’s great to get the win. It was a great team effort but we know there are a lot of things we need to work on and we will do that. It was pretty stressful at the end but we got through it and what a fantastic day it was.”
Centre Brad Barritt added: “I used to watch football matches at the stadium when I was a child so to be able to play out on the pitch was a fantastic experience and one that I will never forget.”
His words were echoed by Neil de Kock. The scrum half commented: “We’ve had two very good close games and to come through them both is a great start to the season. It’s not only a great result but it was also a fantastic occasion. There are a lot of lessons we can learn from the game in terms of how we close out matches but that will come.
“We’re very lucky that we have got such big thinkers in the club. Some people may have doubted the idea of taking a Guinness Premiership match to this stadium but it was a fantastic occasion and a crowd of nearly 45,000 speaks for itself. I can’t wait to come back!”

I think the team should think of the older fans after two very close, heart in mouth games. I know two old boys who could well not be here if you keep this up, good rugby to watch but not good for the health

They're slowly learning how to close out games. May have been buckets of luck but even if lady luck had been smiling on us last season we still would have lost games in the last ten minutes!!! Hopefully come Challenge Cup semi-final time we'll have honed the art of closing out games properly!!!
