Pioneers get ready for Allianz Park
The first group of Saracens Pioneers have now been trained and are ready to start welcoming visitors to Allianz Park when the club’s new home opens on February 16th when Exeter Chiefs are the visitors.
More than 600 people applied for the unique volunteer programme and 250 have been selected to undertake a number of roles at Allianz Park to ensure the new venue offers a traditional rugby welcome.
The safety training courses are the final stage of the programme that has seen the Pioneers take part in a Saracens orientation day at Wembley Stadium and also watch the recent victory against Gloucester at Vicarage Road.
