Following a successful Easter holidays, Saracens are pleased to announce our Rugby Camp Programme for the forthcoming Summer break!
An initial programme of 23 camps have been confirmed across 16 Venues which will run over a three week period. Two Day Skills Clinics will take place at regular venues such as Allianz Park, Dartfordians & Upminster, as well as retuning to partner clubs such as Sevenoaks; the site of our largest ever 2 day camp in 2014! We are also very excited to be able to host a full week at Harpenden RFC and holding camps for the first time at Southend and Harlow!
With our brand new structure for the 2015/16 season the camps will incorporate all the fundamentals of the game including handling, breakdown management, tackling/tagging and decision making coached by our award winning Saracens Community Coaches. All sessions are designed with Saracens Senior Coaches and are aimed at coaching rugby in keeping with our core values; Honesty, Discipline, Work Rate, and Humility.
We will also host our ever popular Scrum Half Clinic & Kicking Clinic at Allianz Park which this summer will be split into a Minis and Juniors categories. The camps are designed to work with experienced kickers to improve their core skills and techniques suited to their position using some of the tools of a professional coaching environment including an interactive presentation and personalised video analysis. Space on both these camps is limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Saracens are pleased to once again be holding specific contact clinics for the U9 & U10 age groups for the 2015/16 season. The camps will be geared towards a safe and structured introduction to contact in line with shaping the game implemented by the RFU across the developing age groups. Introduced for the first time in 2014, this proved to be a hugely popular camp, so please book early!!!
Finally, Saracens annual residential camp will once again take place at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire. Saracens work closely with the Royal Air Force in delivering a programme that combines our top level of rugby coaching with superb delivery of leadership and teamwork instruction from active serving members of our military. The course spans 4 days and will include over 20 hours of rugby coaching, with a positional specific session taking place at Allianz Park, with a chance to meet some of the Saracens Squad for 2015/16.
More camps will be added in the near future so watch this space!!!
Saracens thank all our camp attendees for all their ongoing support and we look forward to another superb camp filled Easter! Space is limited so please go to www.rugbycamps.co.uk/saracens or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
