Olympic gold medalist Greg Rutherford dropped in on the Saracens squad at Wembley Stadium as he prepares to try and catch for £1million.
The 2012 long jump champion will attempt the Saracens ‘Catch-a-Million’ challenge during half-time of the Aviva Premiership Rugby match between Saracens and Harlequins at Wembley on Saturday and, if he can catch three consecutive up-and-unders, he will win £1million for Sport Relief.
“Having been out on the Wembley pitch, it has only added to the nerves but it is something that I am really looking forward to and can’t wait for Saturday,” said Rutherford. “It’s a great cause and I’ll be giving everything to go for the million.”
More than 80,000 tickets have been sold for the match as the club looks to set a new world record for the largest crowd to attend a club rugby union match.
A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the game from the Wembley Box Office…but please come early to avoid disappointment.
