Forwards coach Alex Sanderson couldn’t hide his pride after another resounding display from Saracens delivered a second bonus point in as many games.
“It was an outstanding performance really” beamed Sanderson.
“We knew that wind was worth more than two points but we didn’t think it would be worth a 32 point lead in all honesty. I thought our tactics paid off and we knew we had a better defence and we concentrated on keeping Gloucester down in their own half, making them run out and with only 14 men we knew that they were up against it anyway”.
“I’m so proud of our pack of forwards today” added the Saracens forwards coach.
“I thought the scrum and maul really dominated today, so much so that we scored two or three tries on the back of those two things.
“I’m really chuffed with the boys;; ten points out of two games is great start – we’re very pleased“.
