On Monday 22nd July over 200 partnership club coaches attended the first of many Saracens Elite Coach Education sessions run at Allianz Park.
Coaches enjoyed the facilities of the 100 Club while Saracens Academy strength and conditioning coaches Dan Nisbet and Sean Vine presented how to run a successful pre season. The night touched on fitness testing, elements of aerobic and anaerobic exercises as well as the importance of nutrition.
“Its great to have so many coaches come to Allianz Park to develop their skills, especially those with long journeys. The facilities here at the stadium mean we can take elite coach education evenings to the next level, giving the coaches a Saracens experience they wont forget” – James Tirrell, Saracens RDO.
Saracens aim to be proactive and are continually engaging with as many partnership club coaches as possible. Throughout the season, Saracens will be hitting the road to meet with the clubs who will be running Saracens Coach Education sessions for all mini and junior coaches. The Coach Education Programme looks to provide grassroots rugby with fresh new content for individual development and coaching.
