Saracens in action around the globe

Saracens had 10  players on International duty around the globe over the weekend, with players involved in games in Brisbane, Durban, Houston, Osaka, and Salta this weekend.

Saracens’ Lions trio of Owen Farrell, Matt Stevens and Mako Vunipola were all part of the Lions team that beat Queensland Reds 22-12 on Saturday with Farrell kicking five penalties and converting Ben Youngs' try.

Away from the Lions, Saracens' winger David Strettle was on the scoresheet as England beat Argentina 32-3 in Salta. Richard Wigglesworth came off the bench in the second half while new Saracens signing Billy Vunipola also crossed the line in the win.

In Durban, Sarries back-rower Kelly Brown captained Scotland as they were beaten 27-17 by Samoa and Duncan Taylor also won his first Scottish cap in the game.

In Japan, Rhys Gill came off the bench in Wales' 22-18 win while Chris Wyles kicked all of the USA points in a 15-12 defeat to Ireland in Houston.
