Saracens legends set to roll back the years
Some of Saracens most popular ex-players will be donning the famous black shirt once again to play in a Legends tournament this July.
The likes of Hughy Vyvyan, Kris Chesney, Thomas Castaignede, Nicky Little, Dan Scarborough, Brent Russell, Kevin Yates and current coaches Paul Gustard and Kevin Sorrell will be dusting off their boots, to play in the tournament to raise money for Restart, a charity supporting professional players who have been forced to retire due to serious injury or illness.
Taking place on Saturday 13th July at Wimbledon RFC, legends of the game including will compete in a fun (and no doubt competitive) day of rugby. Fans will get the chance to rub shoulders with their sporting heroes while long standing rivalries will be reignited in a tens tournament featuring teams from Leicester Tigers, Harlequins, Worcester, London Welsh, Bristol and Saracens.
Not just for the rugby players and fans, there is fun for all the family with live music, hospitality and an interactive fun zone featuring kid’s party favourites, entertainers Dazzle and Fizz. DJ’s and karaoke will be followed by a concert headline by chart toppers UB40.
Money raised will go to the official charity of the Rugby Players Association, Restart. Tickets for spectators are £35 (adults) and £70 for a family (two adults and two children).
