Saracens have made seven enforced changes for the JP Morgan Premiership 7s finals in Bath on Friday evening.
Newly-signed Jack Wilson will lead a young squad intent on repeating the club’s victory in this competition three years ago. “This is a fantastic competition,” said the former All Black sevens star, “and we’re looking forward to a great occasion at the Rec.”
The squad includes young English stars Ben Ransom and Luke Baldwin, and Fijian international Michael Tagicakibau.
Joe Shaw, coach, said: “There’s a great spirit within the group and, even though Nils Mordt, Chris Ashton, Tim Streather, Scott Spurling, Eoin Sherriff and Aaron Morris have been ruled out by injury, we believe we will be extremely competitive.”
Tickets for finals night are on sale now priced £7 or £35 for a group of 7. Click here for more information or call 0844 448 1865. The first match is at 7pm.
