A Gloucester-native and a season ticket holder at the Cherry and Whites, Griffiths signed for Saracens having helped Hartpury College to win their fourth consecutive AASE title in April 2013. Since then he has never looked back since his arrival in north London as he continues to impress his academy coaches with his commitment and humble approach to his work.

Originally a fly half, he switched to centre while at school and has gone on to represent Saracens Storm throughout their A League campaign so far this season and has been on-loan at Championship outfit Bedford Blues for the last two seasons. He is tipped to follow the likes of Will Fraser, Jackson Wray and Duncan Taylor of making the step up from Goldington Road to Allianz Park very soon and with the return of the Anglo-Welsh Cup he is one of many Saracens youngsters looking to make their mark on senior duty.

Griffiths is one a raft of talented three-quarters currently in the Sarries system. Alongside England age group representatives Max Malins, Matt Gallagher, Dom Morris, Oli Morris and Ali Crossdale there are former England U20s George Perkins and Rotimi Segun looking to break into the side. Exciting times for Sarries fans.
