Tim Streather is hoping that his involvement in Friday night’s LV=Cup clash away to London Wasps can provide him with the platform to showcase his abilities.
“The LV=Cup games provide a great opportunity to go out there and get some match practice” said Streather.
“Without the Storm games you’d come into these games completely under prepared, so hopefully I can use these LV=Cup fixtures to get more game time and more importantly, contribute to the success of Saracens in this competition”.
Streather is in his first season with Saracens, and after initially impressing during the JP Morgan 7s injury set-backs during the 2013/14 season preparations have delayed the Worcester born centre’s attempts at staking a claim for the No.13 shirt.
“The boys have done really well in the Premiership –Joel (Tomkins), Wylesy (Chris Wyles) and Chello (Marcelo) have all done a fantastic job when they’ve been called upon”.
“I am really excited for my first run-out on Friday evening.”
He added; We’re sitting top so it can be hard to break into the side – it can be frustrating at times but I’m really looking forward to getting out there and playing with the lads .
