Winger David Strettle believes Saracens will in for a battle this weekend, when the in form 30 year-old returns to The Stoop to face the club where he played for four seasons.
“Harlequins away at The Stoop is always a going to be a battle” said Strettle.
“It’s another week for us, and another game – in truth, we have prepared for this just weekend like any other.
“We know what we have to do to meet the challenge head on but they are challenges every week in the Premiership, any side home or away is a tough examination of your credentials and ‘Quins will be no different” added Strettle.
“They are no easy games, and we can’t get ahead of ourselves and build up one fixture more than any other. If we do that then we are deviating away from what we at Saracens believe and that is treating the next game as the most important”.
“This week it is Harlequins at The Stoop – and that’s our focus”
He added; “Last week they played some impressive stuff away at Worcester and came away with a bonus point victory away from home, so we know that we are facing a Harlequins side whose tails are up – so we understand that we have to perform.”
“We didn’t play too badly either (last weekend), but we know that they are improvements that we can make, chances we can execute better but they are some some aspects of our game that we can be proud of”.
