Barely a thousand tickets remain for Super Saturday at Allianz Park, when the Premiership match between Saracens and London Irish is immediately followed by live giant screen coverage of the Six Nations match between Scotland and England at Murrayfield. It’s the ultimate double-header.
Mark McCall’s free-scoring team will seek to consolidate their position at the top of the Premiership, adding to their league-best tally of 38 tries in 12 matches. Immediately after the final whistle, supporters will be able to choose between kicking a ball around on the pitch or enjoying the vibe in the 110m Olympic Bar as they watch the action from Edinburgh.
“It will be a great rugby day at a great rugby venue,” said Andy Duckworth, Supporter Services manager. “The artificial turf pitch will offer the perfect stage for an entertaining match against London Irish, even with all the rain about, and, after that, the Calcutta match, featuring so many Saracens stars, will be shown live on the two giant screens and all the plasma screens around the stadium.”
