One hundred and ten metres long, 16 metres wide, able to accommodate as many as 2,000 people…the Main Bar in the new East Stand at Allianz Park is not just the biggest bar in world rugby, but it will also serve the finest food and drink.
The venue will open on Saturday 16 February before, during and after the Saracens match against Exeter Chiefs. It’s equipped with LED screens, an outstanding sound system, quick beer pourage to minimise queues, kiosks selling the now famous Saracens Laverstoke Pie and Saracens Ale.
The Main Bar opens at 12 noon on match days, and will not close until long after the final whistle, providing supporters with the perfect place to meet and savour that special rugby atmosphere, enjoying a drink, listening to a post-match live band and keeping an eye on live coverage of other matches being played around the country.
What’s more, supporters will be following in the footsteps of Jessica Ennis, Mo Farah, Usain Bolt and others…
On non-match days, the Main Bar will be transformed into an indoor training facility, including a six-lane 100m running track, a throws wall and a jumps area, featuring the selfsame Mondo track which was used as a warm-up area in the Olympic Stadium by all the athletics heroes of London 2012
