Three Saracens players have joined Bedford Blues for the 2013/14 Greene King IPA Championship season.
The championship club have signed centre Sam Stanley while prop Nick Auterac and lock Tom Jubb have been dual-registered with the Blues for the season.
While Stanley had been dual-registered with the Blues in the past , he never got to feature for the club apart from in last year’s Mobbs Memorial Game .
Auterac, 20, joined the full time Saracens Academy at the start of the 2011/12 season but has been a regular with the Saracens Storm in the past three seasons. A graduate of the Oaklands College rugby programme, Auterac started his career at Saracens Amateurs and has also represented England at U16 and U18 levels.
Luton born Jubb is a former Hitchin Boys School student and a product of the club’s Oaklands College programme. Time on loan at National One side Cambridge – which included a hat-trick in a win over Stourbridge – helped the youngster progress and a call-up to the England Under 20 squad soon followed.
