Wembley Loves to Dance

Saracens Love to Dance programme graced the side-lines at Wembley on Saturday 28th March 2015 before the Saracens faced the Harlequins on derby day.

While the 2000 strong Rock Choir sang Coldplay’s hit song Viva La Vida, 150 of our over 50s swayed and turned in sync throughout the song and loved every minute of the performance!! This was the first time our Love to Dancers got the chance to strut their stuff at Wembley, and what a great experience it was to dance in-front of the largest crowd a club rugby match has ever seen!

Jill from our Allianz Park session said “I personally was really impressed with the scale of the organisation involved:  I loved Clare's choreography for our (seniors) routine and was absolutely delighted to see all those children dancing so well and with such energy on the day.  I think all of us were thrilled to have the opportunity to dance at Wembley and I think the visit has rekindled my husband's interest in Rugby, and may even have ignited a certain enthusiasm for the game in me too, so hopefully this event will lead to us coming to Saracens matches at Allianz Park in future!

We are hoping to see the Love to Dancers again at Allianz Park in the near future and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we get to offer the opportunity to dance at Wembley to our Love to Dance programme again so WATCH THIS SPACE!
