'We're in a better place' - Wyles

Full-back Chris Wyles believes Saracens are in a "better place" as a team that last season, as they prepare for the end of year run-in, writes Henry Fraser.

Wyles starts at full-back on Sunday and the US international hopes that a win against Northampton Saints will secure Saracens a home semi-final.

"I feel as a squad, and as a team, that we are definitely in a better place than last year" said Wyles.

"Whilst we aren't dwelling on what happened last season we can draw from those disappointments and learn from them."

"Every game is important to us but winning this weekend will really cement our home semi-final possibilities."

On Sunday's opponents Wyles added; "Northampton are a team full of good players who try and dominate teams physically. We need to stop their forwards from gaining momentum. We obviously pride ourselves on our physicality so it should be a great game!"
