Will Fraser's 'inside the Saracens squad'

Flanker Will Fraser takes us through today's LV=Cup final team. From 1-23, the Saracens loose forward gives us an exclusive insight into the Sarries squad who are looking to secure the club's first domestic cup success since the Tetley Bitter Cup in 1998.

1 Richard Barrington: "Bazza is a great laugh around Saracens. If you ever have lunch with him (usually at Nandos) you are guaranteed a good laugh. He's been brilliant for us since he's arrived, he's a big ball carrier and is superb in the scrum. An all round top lad."

2 Jared Saunders: "Jared's been playing really well. He's had a great period with Bedford since he's come back and he's been on fire. He's returned with more ink on his arm, which is pretty questionable."

3 Juan Figallo: "Chippi, more than anyone, deserves to playing as much as he can, as he's been through some tough times with injury. The whole club are over the moon to see him back. He's constantly smiling - you won't meet a more friendlier face at the club."

4 Maro Itoje: "He's been great. He's an incredibly humble young man. He gets on with his work, when he needs to talk he talks very well and he leads by example. Maro's a big talent, and a great guy to have in our side.

5 Hayden Smith: "Big Dos! He is one of a kind. He's incredibly energetic, a huge energy giver within the group and a great craic. Rugby wise he's another hard-worker and is a classy operator at the lineout -  he's brilliant asset for the team."

6 Nick De Jager: "My stunt double! Nick came to us last year, and have proven to be a great rugby player since he's arrival. He carries very hard and tackles very hard. A tough player."

7 Matt Hankin: "Brilliant player. Hard as nails. It's great to have in the mix at the club alongside other back rowers (including one that isn't fit at the moment) at Sarries. He's tough, brilliant over the ball and grafts. Very humble and has developed quite the bromance with Scott Spurling."

8 Ernst Joubert: "Brilliant player, and over the years has been a huge asset to the club. As a young player coming through Ernie has been someone I've really looked up to and he's always been willing to give his advice. He's been brilliant with this new crop of youngsters coming through. A top bloke."

9 Ben Spencer: "Ben's left peg is probably one of the better ones in the whole of England. In any competition he's fitted in like a glove and along with two other fantastic No9's at the club he's pushing for a starting berth."

10 Nils Mordt: "He's hugely important for at the club in the A League and the LV=Cup. He's a highly experienced guy, and for this group of players he's a real leader."

11 David Strettle: "Rugby wise, he comes with so much experience, at International level and European level. He sets the example during the game, and off the pitch he's a bit of joker, and always taking the mick. A bit like Ernst Joubert, he's another guy who is great to talk to as a younger player, he always makes himself available for a chat. A great guy to have around."

12 Tim Streather: "Timmy is showing what a quality player he is. He's got unbelievable feet, great skills and in the seasons to come I think we'll see a lot more of him. He's another joker around the place."

13 Marcelo Bosch: "Chello is probably one of the classiest players I have ever played with or against. Every time he gets the ball he seems to have ample time to do what he wants with it. He's a very special player."

14 Mike Ellery: "His try last week showed the potential he's got. Ellers is a specimen of man, and pushes some unbelievable weights in the gym. With the experience he's getting playing on the wing I really do think he can turn into a top player for us."

15 Ben Ransom: "Ranno has taken every opportunity he's been given this season with both hands. He's like like a little eel at the back, he just manages to slip through tackles, he has great feet, and is very quick off the mark. With every game he's getting better and better."

Team vs Chiefs

16 Scott Spurling: "He's had a tough run with some knocks this year. As a player he's very much out of Schalla's (Schalk Brits) mould. He's explosive, a talented ball carrier and looks a great prospect for the future."

17 Titi Lamositele: "Massive potential. You should see him in the gym!? At scrum time he's pretty hard to handle, and will add to the loosehead ranks."

18 Biyi Alo: "Biyi is a huge man. He sits people down when he carries the ball. Still learning his trade, and is working really well on his scrum. If he carries on with his upward progression I'm sure he'll do very well for us."

19 George Kruis: "Not a bad bloke to have on the bench. He's got a lot of confidence since he's been playing for England. He's a top player"

2o Kelly Brown: "Highly experienced player, classy back rower and adds a lot to any team he's involved with. A really down to earth guy too."

21 Tom Whiteley: "Cabbage! Not so sure why he's called that i just tag along, but Tom is a very talented young guy. Very quick off the mark and has some amazing footwork. A talent."

22 Alex Goode: "With someone of the talent and experience Goodey has there's not muchI can say to do him justice. A brilliant player and can cover ten and 15 equally well."

23 Catalin Fercu: "The Rat! He's very hard, very direct. He's starting to understand the moves now, but has settled in very well. He's a big talent and has a lot of international experience. A good bloke."
