'A job well done' - McCall

Mark McCall hailed a ‘job well done’ after Saracens sent their fans home with an early Christmas present in a eleven try-romp against London Welsh.

McCall’s side played some startling rugby in a comprehensive victory over the Premiership basement dwellers.

Speaking after the game, McCall said; “It a job well done. It was a clinical performance and sometimes when you’ve got what you want at half-time it’s easy to take your foot of the gas and do the wrong things. The second half was probably better than the first half today and we scored some really good tries. We were thrilled to get the five points and a bit of confidence from today".

Owen Farrell was voted Man of the Match in a superb personal display in which he kicked 23 points, and McCall was effusive in his praise for Saracens No.10.

“I thought he looked really sharp today," said McCall. “He made good decisions and passed the ball really well. He placed kick well and had a great game, as did a lot of people. Chris Ashton scored a try in the first half and set a few up in the second half as well, and was a really good team man and was very unselfish. They both had phenomenal games for us today”.
