Allianz Park adds to trophy haul
Saracens will have to make some more room in the club's trophy cabinet after Allianz Park picked up the Matchday Hospitality Experience award in last night's Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2015 dinner at Leicester City's King Power Stadium.
Allianz Park won the Gold Award for a Stadium that can hold up to 750 hospitality guests at the awards night, seeing off competition from Leicester Tigers, Morecambe FC, Newcastle Falcons and Notts County FC for the gong.
Last night's awards were the 11th annual stadia awards organised by Stadium Experience, which is a not-for-profit marketing collaboration, run by volunteers, made up of over 45 major football and rugby stadia throughout the UK.
Speaking about the award, Saracens Sales Director Hugh Vyvyan said: "We are delighted to win the 2015 Matchday Hospitality Award. It has been an amazing week for Saracens rugby club having just been crowed champions of England on the pitch, so to add to the six trophies won this season is wonderful news.
"This award is also great recognition for our Allianz Park match day staff a stadium that is only two years old. Huge amounts of praise needs to go to Georgina Martin and Clare Ludlow for managing our match day hospitality, Leaf catering for the amazing quality of food, beverages and staffing, and also for the help of out match day pioneers (voluntary helpers) and Captivate London who provide attention and care for our hospitality clients."
