Allianz Park plays host to ICE
Wednesday evening saw over 120 kids flock to Allianz Park to take part in the Alan Day VW International Coaches Event.
Now in it's 6th year, the International Coaches Event brings some of the biggest names in world rugby pass on their knowledge alongside Saracens award winning community coaches. Attendees were offered the chance to train and play alongside some of their heroes from the Heineken Cup Finalists including Schalk Brits, Owen Farrell, Steve Borthwick and Billy and Mako Vunipola.
Speaking at the event Owen Farrell commented on the talent on show. “It has been great to come down to Allianz Park get involved with coaching these kids” said the Heineken Cup Finalist. “The stadium is a great community hub and the quality on show here is amazing. I’ve no doubt some of these lads here will be wearing our shirts in the future!”
Saracens are busy planning for our Summer Rugby Camp programme and have already put a number of camps up online at a number of venues including Allianz Park, Old Albanians, Upminster RFC and a residential course taking place at RAF Halton.
